Against the backdrop of a global economy transitioning towards a greener and more sustainable direction, lyocell fiber is entering a rapid growth phase as production technologies gradually mature. Currently, the capacity of the industry has reached 580kt/yr, with an annual operating rate exceeding 80%, and inventory continuing to decline, while its market share in textiles steadily increases. In Chinese domestic market, a variety of blended fabrics such as cotton/lyocell, viscose/lyocell, lyocell/linen, and many more component blends are emerging like mushrooms after rain, showcasing a flourishing scene. Meanwhile, in overseas markets, demand is also showing explosive growth trends. Additionally, lyocell fiber has made significant breakthroughs in the non-woven fabric sector, emerging as a dark horse.
Looking ahead to 2025, can lyocell continue to maintain its strong growth momentum in these areas? With the expected introduction of over 350kt of new capacity, how much market potential remains? What new advancements have been made in improving end-user processing technology and cooperation among various links in the industry chain? Especially in the context of dramatic fluctuations in the price differences between cotton/lyocell and viscose, how will downstream companies' strategic adjustments in raw material selection affect market demand?
In this era filled with transformation and challenges, the 5th Lyocell Industry Forum will gather global industry elites to jointly discuss the aforementioned hot topics and future development trends. We hope that through the collision of ideas and resource sharing at this forum, we can inject new momentum into the development of the lyocell fiber industry and jointly open a new chapter in industry development. Whether you are a researcher seeking technological innovation or an entrepreneur exploring market opportunities, this forum will provide you with a rare platform for exchange.
We sincerely invite you to attend this forum, and let us explore the bright future of the lyocell fiber industry together!
